A lot of sludge is left over after the waste water treatment. The moisture content may be not high, but it's so mushy that it's hard to dry. Thermal drying is an intermediate sludge treatment process that consists of evaporating the water in the sludge. It significantly reduces the volume and weight of the sludge so that it is easier to recover.
Sludge dryer is designed specifically to dispose sludge with high moisture, high viscosity, high water holding capacity and low calorific value etc. The sludge dryer is mainly composed of a rotating body, a material lifting plate, a transmission device, a supporting device and a sealing ring. The new material lifting plate has multiple functions such as guiding, current sharing, and material lifting, which can make the material in the radial section of the dryer. It is evenly distributed across the entire surface, and the material curtain becomes thin, uniform and complete, fully contacting the hot air flow, achieving the purpose of making full use of heat energy.
